General Terms & Conditions
The tour participant(s) acknowledge receiving, reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth below, covering the tour packages operated by::

RESERVATIONS/PAYMENTS BREAKDOWN:
A $100 deposit ($25 non-refundable) is due at time of booking. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. No bookings are considered confirmed until deposit is received in-house by MCR. If payments are not received on time, MCR has the right to cancel the bookings without any liability. We strongly recommend that alternate packages and/or dates be considered, if the requested services are not available at the time of booking.
LATE BOOKINGS (reservations made within 20 days of departure date):
Payments must be made within 24 hours of booking by certified check, wire transfer or credit card. A fee of $15 will be applied to ensure timely document delivery.
CHARGE IT:
We honor most major credit cards so you can pay your deposit for any of our car rentals conveniently by phone or BOOKING ONLINE. Final payment with credit cards require signed Universal Credit Card form (except for BOOKING ONLINE), validated by the traveler/credit card holder. No second-party credit cards will be accepted. Restrictions apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
$25 per car charge on cancellations received from time of booking up to 15 days before departure. $50 on cancellations received 14 days or less before departure. No refunds for any unused portion of 6 days or less. For unused rentals of 4 days or more, unused portions may be refunded minus a $25 handling fee
RESERVATION CHANGES:
Due to the expense incurred in making changes, a $25 fee will be assessed for each change made up to 21 days before departure on deposited bookings. Additional incurred expenses will be charged for each change made less than 20 days before departure. This includes any changes made including passenger’s name and hotel. Car Rental Vouchers: Bookings made through the call center are issued electronically and sent by email or fax. For online reservations, once paid in full, car rental voucher may be self-printed from the website. For clients requesting paper vouchers, a fee of $15 will be applied to the invoice to ensure proper delivery.
PASSPORT/VISA:
US citizens require a valid US passport. Visa is required for passengers traveling to Turkey, which should be obtained in the US prior to departure. Non-citizens should consult their travel agent or consulate. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulates or visa agency to determine whether any visas are required. Most countries require that passports be valid for at least 6 months beyond the conclusion of the trip. It is recommended that you have a minimum of six blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages.
CLAIMS:
Typewritten claims must be received within 30 days after scheduled return date and will be acknowledged within 60 days.
RESPONSIBILITY:
This program is arranged by your tour operator, Travel Auto International, Inc. dba MAIELLANO Car Rental, a company of The World Travel Group. MCR has made the travel arrangements as an intermediary or agent for the transportation carrier and other suppliers of services connected with the tour, all of which are independent contractors. MCR in no way owns or operates the vehicles or facilities to be used during the tour, and assumes no responsibility for the negligent acts and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents or representatives. All bookings are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by these independent contractors and MCR will make no refund in the event of their delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, act of terrorism or force majeure.
MAIELLANO CAR RENTAL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPOGRAPHICAL OR PRINTING ERRORS FOUND IN THIS BROCHURE. .
ARBITRATION:
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms & Conditions, to this Tour Agreement, to the brochure, or any other information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Moonachie, New Jersey in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association then existent. In any such arbitration the substantive (but not procedural) law of New Jersey will apply. The arbitrator and not any federal, state, or local court or agency shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, conscionability, or formation of this contract, including but not limited to any claim that all or any part of this contract is void or voidable.
